Comments:
At Apikali, we have wanted to stock more Rumparooz since we opened, and we are thrilled to announce that a wider selection of their wonderful pocket nappies are now available. Rumparooz pocket cloth nappy is a practical & trendy product with excellent features for a very competitive price.

Rumparooz pockets come with a set of two of their 6r soakers. The soakers are made of a high quality, thick microfibre which allows you to customise absorbency. Even though the absorbent material is microfibre, don't be dissuaded. It is thick, extremely absorbent and non-fluffy. But make sure you place it inside the pocket, as microfibre has a drying affect on skin. It is OSFM and there is a double gusset sewn into the cloth nappy.

Having used two in our stash for two years now, we can attest for the excellent quality of this nappy. Apikali now has available the complete print range and a large selection of solid colours, all in snap fixing (no Aplix velcro at this stage).

These nappies are the best! I was a slow starter with mcn and wasn't sure how much I would take them on but these nappies are so good we use them fulltime (apart from nights)

Miss
I won one of these from Apikali when my daughter was around 6 weeks old and have been patiently waiting for her to poop in it to try out the double gusset ever since. After using it for 4 months poop free, I can only assume that it has some sort of magical properties that prevent babies from pooping altogether and will review it without being able to comment on its poop catching effectiveness. The nappy has fit my daughter from as soon as I got it at around 6 weeks, she did however have chunky thighs and was on 75th weight percentile so lots of OSFM fit her early. The inserts are very absorbent and can be configured depending on the snap sizes you are using, I have found it very bulky using both inserts with the larger one folded down, which has not been a problem in summer, but wouldn't be the best in winter. This is a passing issue though and shouldn't be a problem when she is on a higher rise and doesn't need it folded over. Overall I am very happy with the nappy and like having a non-minky option in our stash.

Great every day (smallish) nappy
We have recently added a single Rumparooz nappy to our full time stash after many of our other (bamboo) inserts deteriorated from acidic wee. Hence a microfibre insert was appealing. The inserts are absorbant (no leaks as yet) and wash up well. We haven't had a poo event to test the double gusset, but the fit of the nappy is good. The only shortfall I see is that the nappy is shorter than other brand OSFM, so may not fit bigger/taller children for as long. Having said that it fits my (smallish) 19 month old fine now.

Great Nappy!
This nappy is fast drying and easy to use. The double gusset seems to stop leaks completely (I have never had a leak with this nappy). Downsides are: a bit bulky and the insert is slightly too long for the nappy when you tuck it inside. The sizing is also smaller than some other nappies, meaning my 9 month old baby is already on the largest rise setting and the second largest waist size setting. Overall a great nappy though!

Beautiful but bulky
I find this nappy has excellent absorption but is just so bulky that I don't often choose it off the change table. My daughter isn't a small girl, but she just doesn't look as comfortable in it as some of her others. Gorgeous designs though, and very well made. Might try it again with her when she's a bit older.
