Troubleshoot: Strip washing
 9/20/2014  by

do i need to stripwash my cloth nappiesStrip washing is used to remove the build up of detergents when cloth nappies have lost their absorbency. Wash clean, dry nappies in hot water (50-60 degrees) with no detergent with a high water level. Wash cloth nappies again in the same conditions but with one teaspoon of dishwashing liquid added during the wash cycle. Dry as above. Or you can try Grovia Mighty Bubbles

Trudy has recently written an awesome blog on when strip washing may be necessary, and its not as often as you think. Link HERE.
